My biological son told me once that I've "really lived a lot of life" in my life, and I thought that was one of the best compliments ever.  I'm a mother, Air Force veteran, and former Mayor.  After 18 years in the construction industry, I decided to adopt another child, become a journalist, and spend more time on things I enjoy.  This is where I share that with anyone who's interested.
